More Information About Inna Rude Mood

Inna Rude Mood's Songlist

Inna Rude Mood's Influences
Click on this link to read about Scott, Maggi and Ruben's musical influences. Why should you care? We're not really sure but our webmaster assured us that we couldn't have a real band website until we posted this type of content.
Inna Rude Mood's Equipment Page
Click on this link to read about the instruments and equipment used by Scott, Maggi and Ruben. Unlike the immediately above link, this is actually fascinating reading for those of you who may imagine yourself as yet-to-be-discovered "guitar heroes" but who also might be better characterized as "guitar geeks."
Inna Rude Mood's Myspace Profile
The kids told us that we couldn't really be a band unless we had a myspace account. I guess we are now a real band.
Vettaville Site for Line6 Info
After Scott posted on the Bose PS1 Forum his opinion about performing with a Line6 Variax, Line6 PODxt Live and Bose PS1 system, the webmaster of Vettaville copied it to his site to share it with other Line6 users. This guy seems very sincere in offering web surfers a public service but also appears to have way too much time on his hands to cyber stalk Line6's every move.
Tribute City
Website with info about former Rude Mood SRV Tribute and of course the mecca for all pale imitations of other imitators.

Friends

Alan Haynes
Scott's favorite little known Texas Blues gunslinger. At the risk of committing sacrilege and incurring the wrath of people who worship at the altar of SRV, you might find this guy to be a better live player than SRV ever was. Alan doesn't need any stinking wah pedal as he creates the same effect with expert use of his tone and volume controls.
Guitar Tech Corner
Tracy Longo, the world's best guitar tech. See Tracy's latest work on the Photos page at "Variax 500 Transplant into Fender SRV Relic'd Strat." We're not really sure why Tracy wastes his valuable time working on Scott's guitars but we suspect he feels a little sorry for the audience and wants to do his best to keep Scott in tune.
Zircon Skye Studio
Studio where Inna Rude Mood recorded a live demo for the SRV Tribute. If you can find it in Ojai, and that's no small task, you'll find a relaxing oasis where you can lay down your musical brilliance.
Leos Bluesland
Where else can you get all the latest info on Leo Schumaker, the radio DJ of "Bluesland" who has featured live performances by IRM a few times in past years? Why at his website, of course.
Howard Freiberg Presents
Check out the cool website of Ojai-based promoter of classic rock shows, Howard Freiberg.
Led Zepplica -- Tribute Band
These guys are the real deal, and we're not just saying that because their drummer is Scott's sons drum teacher.
The Blame Band
Don't blame Scott for playing in a high school band (Outrage; pure rock) with Mark Baker (aka, Jack Daley). A fine drummer who likes to pass the time selling ladies handbags.

Line 6
Most innovative music equipment company on the planet that also happens to be located near Inna Rude Mood's home base. Scott actually applied to work as their in-house Legal Counsel but unfortunately they didn't have any need for such a position. Imagine working at a place where the employee cafeteria contains a stage stocked with the finest musical equipment around. Come on, someone start suing their ass so they need in-house legal counsel!!
Bose
Most innovative live performance sound engineers on the planet. We still can't figure out why our very loud PA doesn't feedback when a mic is placed directly in front of it.
Dr. Z Amps
Boutique tube amplifiers that sound better than Fender/Marshalls. Sometimes smaller is better and these guys know how to do small well.
Display and Play
Exactly what the doctor ordered to tame a severe case of GAS (guitar acqusition syndrome). Why buy art when you can frame your favorite guitar and call it art?
Klon
Best clean/dirty analog boost pedal on the market. Don't be put off by the fact that it's only sold by some strange egghead in Cambridge (MA) who feels the need to check out whether his customers are worthy enough to purchase his product prior to accepting an order. This is one product that actually lives up to the overheated internet hype!
Analog Man
Best analog guitar effect pedal website dealer on the planet. I can't say that I was ever really able to discern all the subtle tone tweaks that he made to two TS9s (especially in a live band situation) but it's fun to read his website and imagine that someone in your audience might have the much heralded canine-like ears of Eric Johnson, who allegedly can appreciate the tonal difference between using one brand of 9volt battery versus another. When your quest for the perfect guitar tone leaves you frustrated and stressed out, the best fix is to leave the settings alone and just keep drinking beer until you hit that perfect moment when your tone finally sounds great. Then increase the volume and have fun!
Real McCoy Custom Wah
Best analog Wah pedals on market. Scott really missed using his RMC3 live until Line6 modeled it for the Podxt Live and called it "throaty." Both the RMC3 and Line6 Model give you great wah sound without the punk-ass hiss from the Vox Wahs.
Moody Leather Guitar Straps
The most comfortable leather/suede guitar straps that you'll ever find. Hand made in a small shop located in California.
The Red Hot "Air Guitar" Rock Shop
Outfit your room properly to play kick-ass air guitar to your favorite metal records!!
Wild About Music
With stores in both Austin and Santa Monica, you know this is the best shop for everything rock and roll!
